“The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is a 66-acre botanical garden located at 8525 Garland Road in East Dallas, Dallas, Texas, on the southeastern shore of White Rock Lake. Created to preserve history and nature, the gardens are comparatively young. The Dallas Arboretum leads the field in pursuit of our mission, which has four parts. We are a world-class display garden, committed to building and maintaining a public venue that:
Promotes the art, enjoyment and knowledge of horticulture;
Provides opportunities for education and research, to give back to the field;
Maintains and develops the Arboretum as an essential resource in Dallas; and
Prioritizes good management and fiscal responsibility.”
