“Starting from predominantly gallon-sized pots, Ruth Bancroft began planting her garden in 1972. We are now open to the public and have a wholly outdoor retail Nursery onsite. We specialize in climate-resilient and drought-tolerant plants, but we are so much more than cacti! We offer a wide array of Proteaceae, California native plants, succulents, and more. Nestled in the Bay Area, the Garden is a family and pet friendly place to spend the day! We host a wide range of educational workshops and webinars, wellness events, interactive activities for children, and landscape design services.
